(Well, actually we work at night, because of course we\u2019re dealing with a nocturnal people, they\u2019re a bit like vampires in that respect, and other respects too.&nbsp;But as they stagger out into the streets in the early hours, tearful and broken&nbsp;after encountering us, the dawn breaks as a new day begins and our \u201crescueees\u201d are born anew!) We did toy with the name \u2018Twilight Rescue\u2019 but we thought that sounded like a euthanasia clinic for the elderly, and that\u2019s not what we do at all! No, our clientele are very much in the youth bracket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are currently saving souls across london, but particularly in Soho, (we really have our hands full&nbsp;in Old Compton Street, as you can imagine!) We shall soon be expanding our base of operations to Brighton, and thence to the Canal Street area of Manchester. He has successfully built up the organisation from its very early days when it was basically just him on his own, to now, when he currently oversees a&nbsp;vast network of Dawn Rescue volunteers, spreading the Word right across London\u2019s gay bars and nightclubs. He is currently masterminding Dawn Rescue\u2019s exciting&nbsp;expansion into Brighton and Manchester. He loves to get out there every night to the hot spots of Soho and \u201cmuck in.\u201d It\u2019s a sometimes&nbsp;unpleasant job, but Matthew loves the satisfaction&nbsp;that comes with&nbsp;saving a&nbsp;vulnerable young man from a life of sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dawnrescue.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Joel-e1347840822907.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"247\" height=\"196\" src=\"http:\/\/www.michaelrossplaywright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Joel.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-745\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>JOEL GUTHRIE is one of Dawn Rescue\u2019s newest recruits and is delighted to assist with the training of volunteers, as well as&nbsp;taking on general office&nbsp;admin duties.
